How much does ebook development cost?
The cost will vary depending on the length of the book (word count), how much interior design and formatting are required. We can give you a better idea of the price once we have the final manuscript for review and if you need additional services such as proofreading and proofreading.
What do i need to submit before we begin?
After we receive the initial deposit to start the project, we will start by gathering materials and requirements for the project. It is recommended that the manuscript is final before we start as editing the content becomes more difficult when we are in the design phase.
We will also need the full specification on book size, format as well as the samples of the designs you like to help us get a better idea of the direction you are looking for. Once we have all the info, we develop an initial draft for your review. From there, you will be allowed to have up to 4 rounds of revisions to fine tune the design before we finalize it.
What if i need to edit the content, how much will you charge me for it?
We strongly discourage our clients from modifying content once the design has already started. However, if the changes are absolutely necessary, we will charge a nominal fee of $5–$10 per page for minor edits such as wording/grammar/spelling fixes. For major structural changes, we will charge $50/hr to apply the edits.
What format will the final files be?
The format will depend on how you plan on selling the book. If you plan to print them or sell electronic books on your website, we can develop this in PDF format. If you plan on selling it on Amazon, and other platforms, we can convert them to EPUB, etc.
Will you help me upload the final files?
We can help you with this, if necessary. Normally, we would only go as far as designing and formatting your book but if you need assistance in uploading them to your website, print-on-demand or distribution centers, we can do this for you at a minimal cost.
